Bonbonniere: A  wedding terminology for wedding gift for the guests.

Boutonnière: An individual flower or bud worn or a little spray of flowers on the grooms’, groomsmen’s or parents’ lapel of a suit. 

Best man:  A role given to the closest men to the groom. It can be the best man’s family members or friends.

Bouquet: A  wedding terms for abunch of flowers held by the bride and bridesmaids. A bouquet can consist of uniformed or varied flowers.

Bouquet toss: It is a tradition from England. The bride would toss he bouquet and the single woman grabbing it is believed to be next to marry.

Bridesmaid: A role given to the closest women to the bride.

Canape: A bite of sweet or savoury food served during cocktail hour or some laid-back wedding receptions. 

Corkage Fee: An additional charge applied by the venue for bringing your alcoholic drinks. It is commonly priced per person.

Corsage: A little spray of flowers worn on the wrist or the clothing mostly by family members.

Feasting Style: A  wedding terminology for menu style of sharing plates or platters in the centre of the table. This family-style menu is for the guests to serve themselves. 

First Dance: The first dance of bride and groom as the opening of the dance. It symbolizes the unity of the couples.

First Look: A photo-taking before the ceremony capturing the bride and groom in their wedding attire seeing each other for the first time.

Head table: Or known as the bridal table. It is a large table where the bride, groom, bridesmaids, and groomsmen sit.

Mood Board: A wedding terms for an arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text to display a particular wedding style or concept. It is commonly made by planners.

Naked Cake: A wedding terminology for a style of cake with minimum frosting, displaying the actual look and texture of the cake.

PAX: it refers to the number of persons

Palette: A range of colours that matches your wedding and will be featured on the wedding decorations and details.

Place Cards: Little cards with guest names on it to indicate the assigned seat. 

Place Setting:  A wedding terminology for the set of cutleries and wares set on the table of each designated seat.

Prelude: The music played before the wedding ceremony begins, while the guests are arriving.

Processional: The ceremony of the brides, grooms, parents, groomsmen and bridesmaid entering the wedding.

Recessional: The ceremony of the brides, grooms, parents, groomsmen and bridesmaid entering the wedding exiting the wedding.

Sheet Cake: An extra cake served to the invitees for dessert with smaller or fake cake displayed for the cake cutting.

Sweetheart Table: A wedding terminology for a small table for the bride and groom to sit during the reception in place of a bridal table.
