We love to surprise our guests and share in their excitement and bring their event to life. Red Scooter is a purpose built event space that is owned and has been operated by us (The Hamilton’s) since its conception in 1997. It started with a passion for hosting events and looking after our family and friends. Once you walk through the door, you’ll become part of our extended family too!

Red Scooter’s unique celebration Melbourne venue encompasses a distinctive New York style catering for sit down or hand held dinners, Wedding Receptions, Corporate Christmas Parties, University Balls, School Formals or Milestone birthday celebrations and that’s just to name a few.
Red Scooter offers four flexible function spaces.
- The Hamilton Room – seating for 300 guests or up to 400 for a cocktail event.
The grandest and largest of our rooms combined.
- The Madisson Room – seating for 160 guests or standing room for up to 250. This space has it all.
Floor to ceiling mirrors, Parisian lounge and pinball inspired bar, Bridal suite and a huge dance floor.
- The Dakota Room – seating for up to 100 guests or space for 175 guests for a stand up dinner. It’s the ideal space for your intimate events and you’ll love the cozy feel our elegant Parisian inspired lounge and bar.
- The Ethan Room – Private space for Wedding Ceremonies and Intimate Dinners.
Fully secured free on and off street parking allows you and your guests easy and safe access to and from the venue.

- Gatsby/1920’s Gangster – featuring a quality cross section of 1920’s Gangster style entertainment for your party or special event at Red Scooter. Your guests will feel like they have landed in the underworld and jazzy surrounds of 1920’s Chicago!
- 60’s, 70’s or Studio54 – from Go-Go Dancers in cages to Flower Power hippies and their friends, this wacky themed package will have your guests feeling groovy baby! Interactive roving characters can include: Austin Powers, Felicity Shagwell, The Beatles, Elvis, Boogie Nights Roller Girl, Saturday Night Fever Boy and many more.
- Moulin Rouge – featuring a quality cross section of French-themed entertainment for your party or special event.
