The suburb is known for housing a large number of high-quality Chinese restaurants outside of the city’s Chinatown.
When it comes to shopping options, there’s definitely no shortage in Doncaster East. Stockland The Pines Shopping Centre is perhaps the most popular complex, featuring a variety of major and minor stores. Donburn Shopping Centre is a hub of delicious edible treats, and houses stores offering authentic cheesecake, chocolates and meringues in addition to restaurants serving contemporary Australian, Thai, Malaysian and Indian dishes.
The Doncaster East Village and Devon Shopping Centre is another point of interest for those looking to do a spot of shopping, with a number of specialty and independent stores present in the complex. From pharmacies to dog grooming, the centre has it all. Other services include realtors, beauty salons and law firms, all available for visitors and locals.
